Sign in to Claude
Open claude.ai in your browser or launch Claude Desktop and sign in. Custom Connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team, and Enterprise plans (Free is limited to one connector).
Open Connectors
Click your profile in the bottom-left, then go to Customize → Connectors. On Team and Enterprise plans, the workspace owner adds connectors via Organization settings → Connectors instead.
Add custom connector
Click the + button at the top-right of the Connectors panel and choose "Add custom connector".
Paste the Peeksy MCP URL
Paste your Peeksy remote MCP URL into the "Remote MCP server URL" field. Open Advanced settings and provide your Peeksy API key as the bearer credential (Peeksy authenticates via Authorization: Bearer pk_…). Click Add.
Use Peeksy in a chat
Open a new chat. Click the tools icon, toggle Peeksy on, and try: "How did my channels do this week?" Claude will route the request through Peeksy automatically.
Install Cursor
Go to cursor.com and install Cursor. Open the app and sign in.
Open Settings
Press Cmd+, (macOS) or Ctrl+, (Windows) to open Cursor Settings.
Go to MCP Servers
In Settings, navigate to Tools & Integrations and click the "MCP Servers" section.
Add Peeksy server
Click "Add MCP Server". Enter the Peeksy remote MCP URL and your API key from /dashboard/mcp. Click Save.
Verify in chat
Open a new Cursor chat. Type "How did my channels do this week?" — Cursor will invoke Peeksy automatically.
Plus, Pro, or Business plan required
Enable Developer mode
Custom MCP connectors are behind a beta flag. Open Workspace Settings → Permissions & Roles and turn on "Connected Data: Developer mode / Create custom MCP connectors". Available on Plus, Pro, Business, Enterprise, and Edu plans.
Open Connectors
Go to Settings → Connectors and click Create.
Fill in the connector
Set Name to "Peeksy", add a short Description, and paste your Peeksy remote MCP URL into the MCP Server URL field.
Authenticate and trust
Set Authentication to OAuth or paste your Peeksy API key as the bearer credential. ChatGPT shows an "I trust this application" confirmation — review it and confirm. Click Create to save.
Use Peeksy in a chat
Start a new chat, click the + (tools) button, and select Peeksy. Try: "How did my channels do this week?" ChatGPT will confirm any write actions before they run.
Security
Your YouTube data stays on our servers. Your AI client only ever sees the structured response — never your OAuth tokens or credentials.
Read-only access
MCP can read your analytics data but never modifies, deletes, or posts on your channels.
API key scoped per-user
Each Pro and Enterprise user gets their own API key. Rotate or revoke without affecting other users.
